NAXOS ISLAND – we have visited this beautiful island many times over the last decade. On this visit we made a great discovery. You see we enjoy staying in quiet places away from the bustle of the tourist industry.

The small village of Agidia lies just outside of the Chora and yet is set within a rural farming community where the only noise comes from the farm animals and the birds, all of which are very soothing. Set just on the outskirts of this village lay AEOLOS SUNNY VILLAS having just one studio and two maisonettes all connected to the family home this is the perfect place to experience real Greek living.

The owner Eleni is an excellent cook who grows her own vegetables and fruits. This hospitable lady is happy to cook in her traditional wood oven and treat visitors to home cooked food at a more than reasonable cost. This eating at home experience is one not to be passed over. One can enjoy the sunset from the beautifully furnished pergola whilst eating dinner or just enjoying a pre-dinner drink.

The house is set in immaculately kept gardens and enjoys a peaceful atmosphere. The three units are all individually furnished and are each unique. The kitchen areas are extremely well equipped with oven and hob, electric kettle, filter coffee maker, frappe maker and electric toaster. There is also a full sized refrigerator with a small ice box which freezes ice cubes and freezer packs for your cool box most efficiently.
